Who this is for

One annual basis

The converter uses 52 weekly, 26 fortnightly, 13 four-weekly or 12 monthly payments per budgeting year. Annualise the original amount first, then divide by the destination period. Round the final result to cents, rather than rounding an intermediate weekly rate.

Worked example

Illustrative scenario

600 per week gives 31,200 per budgeting year and 2,600 per month. A four-week payment would be 2,400. These are equivalents of the entered amount, not market prices.

Four weeks and one month

Four weeks is 28 days. There are 13 four-week periods in a 52-week year, while there are 12 calendar months. Multiplying weekly rent by four understates the monthly budgeting equivalent.

Budgeting and contractual billing

A 52-week convention is a comparison method, not a claim that every calendar year has 364 days. An agreement may charge actual days, a calendar month or another daily rate. Use the partial-period calculator for dates and confirm the contractual method before paying.

Frequently asked questions

Does the result decide my application or legal position?

No. It reports scoped arithmetic or source guidance. Your agreement, the recipient's assessment and applicable exceptions remain separate.

Are my entered figures sent with analytics?

The calculation runs in your browser. If you allow analytics, pseudonymous usage events contain the tool, market and an ephemeral attempt ID, not your amounts, documents or individual result.
